Job Description

PETA are proud to be working with Medhurst Communications to support them with the recruitment and training of a new IT Support Apprentice.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Joining the team as an IT Support Apprentice, you will learn:

  • How to provide IT support on both hardware and software including desktop PCs, mobile devices, audio visual and networking equipment
  • How to maintain and troubleshoot IT equipment
  • How to identify and resolve technical problems

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As an IT Support Apprentice, you will be studying towards a level 3 ICT Support Technician apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is 22 months in length and will involve ongoing onsite training and mentoring from the Medhurst team combined with 25 days of off the job training at the PETA training centre in Cosham.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There is potential for a full-time role to be offered to the suitable and successful candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship.
