Responsibilities

Are you enthusiastic about IT, or an aspiring IT Support Technician? Do you have a desire to help and support others with computer-related issues? If so, then this could be an opportunity for you! Balticaapprenticeships are delighted to be working in partnership with Ashmole Academy.

Ashmole Academy are a trust-based in Central London. As an apprentice, you will offer IT support to students and staff, aligning with their six values which underpin all that they stand for as a school. These are Endeavour, Reflection, Professionalism, Responsibility, Respect, and Co-operation. No two days will be the same working within 1st line support.

Could you be their next IT specialist?

Roles & Responsibilities (Will include but not limited to):

  • Fixing IT problems
  • Going round classrooms to resolve problems
  • Identifying hardware/software problems
  • Working on the ticketing system
  • Assisting with day to day IT duties
  • Every day you will have a list to look at to make sure everything is working i.e. logins, computers etc.

  • Willingness and eager to learn
  • Clear passion and interest in IT/technology
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Logical mind-set
  • Ability to manage time
  • Good understanding of hardware and software
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Level 4/C or above in Maths or equivalent

Salary, Hours & Benefits

  • £17,000 - £19,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday working 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm
  • 36 hours per week
  • 30 days holiday entitlement
  • All year round working, 52 weeks
  • Onsite car park
