Job Description

Laboc Communications Ltd are looking to take on a IT Support Apprentice to join there team and take on day to day duties and also complete a Infrastructure Technician level 3 qualification. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

Short term 1st line support including:

  • Troubleshooting technical issues
  • Fact-finding on phone calls/logging tickets
  • Anti-virus work, phone systems, password resets
  • General IT support
  • Working with Office 365

Future Prospects

  • Progression to L4 after completion of Level 3 Programme 

Skills Required

  • Basic understanding and keen interest in IT and technology
  • Good communicator

Qualities Required

  • Problem solver
  • Passion to learn and develop

Qualifications Required

  • A minimum of a grade C/4 in maths or a level 2 functional skills qualification
