ESP Projects are looking to take on a passionate IT Helpdesk Apprentice to join their current team of 5! Duties will include providing 1st line support to customers and diagnosing problems with Windows products. Find out more about ESP Projects here:


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st Line Support to customers
  • Creating, assigning and solving tickets via our ticketing system
  • Diagnosing problems with Windows, Windows Servers and Office
  • Helping our clients with any issues they may have with their systems
  • Tackling first line support issues, such as virus scans, malware removal and installation of software

Future Prospects

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.

Skills Required

  • Good telephone skills
  • Good written English skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and terminology

Qualities Required

  • Interest in and experience of working with PCs
  • Organised
  • Disciplined
  • Punctual

Qualifications Required

5 GCSEs grade 7-4/A-C or equivalent, to include maths and English.

Training Provided

  • Level 3 - Infrastructure technician standard
  • Functional Skills if required
