Responsibilities
You will be providing IT telephone, online and onsite first line support, logging and administration of support calls on the IT helpdesk, resolving issues where possible and escalating as necessary.
- Ensure the IT Helpdesk is kept up to date, all calls are being responded to and users are kept up to date
- Raise calls on behalf of users on the IT helpdesk
- Answer inbound calls from users on the IT support phone line
- Setting up and installing laptops, PCs and mobile devices
- Assist with end user IT training
- Maintain appropriate records of time spent and actions taken on all work carried out
- Liaise with third parties for escalated support issues
- Perform PC hardware and software diagnostics and coordinate repairs

Training Provided
Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training. The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work. You will be completing Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship along with the following qualifications:
- Microsoft (MTA) Networking Fundamentals
- Microsoft (MTA) Mobility and device Fundamentals
- Microsoft (MTA) Server Admin
- Microsoft (MTA) Software development Fundamentals
- ITIL Foundation V4
- Functional Skills in maths and English if required
