Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Provide technical support to customers both internal and external through a range of communication channels
- Using a ticketing system to escalate and document issues
- Testing and installing new software on PCs and laptops
- Password resets
- Use basic connectivity for routers and ID broadband via remote connection
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. You will gain experience within the workplace and complete a full apprenticeship programme. Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will receive a full level 3 Advanced information communications qualification
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
