Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
You'll receive an exceptional introduction to the insurance industry on our 18-month Apprenticeship and then work alongside our underwriting teams you will:
Review allocated cases and support underwriting decisions
Support new business opportunities and development inititaitves to maximise profits and achieve business targets
Deliver an outstanding service to brokers/clients by building strong relationships
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
We will support you to achieve the valuable CII Certificate in Insurance through our Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship. You will receive:
- Classroom led tutorials and revision sessions with dedicated study time every week in our Chelmsford office.
- Your own Talent Coach to guide you through your learning journey
- Textbooks and bespoke e-learning materials
- Buddy and senior leader mentors & the opportunity to nework with other RSA Apprentices.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Perform well on this apprenticeship, and you’ll have the chance to build a successful career here with one of the world’s biggest insurance companies. You might want to continue working and learning, gaining further insurance qualifications or you might prefer just to get stuck in and specialise taking on bigger responsibilities and more complex renewals and underwriting decisions
