Job Description

Would you like to be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems? This JTL delivered apprenticeship will teach you to become a competent Electrician.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Completing the required academic and practical training requirements of the apprenticeship as provided for by the company's nominated training provider
Completing all relevant coursework on time and to a high standard
Gaining knowledge and understanding of all operations best practices through training and observing engineers
Gaining knowledge and understanding
of all operations best practices through training and observing engineers
Lean how to communicate with
internal and external customers at a professional level
Gain hands on operational
experience and achieve a satisfactory level as an electrician which includes,
preparing, fixing, and installing electrical systems, installing electrical
components and accessories, distribution panels and control systems
Learn to diagnose and correct
electrical faults and inspection & testing

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Services Dedicated training at a college or training centre Day/Block release depends on college selected On-site, work-based assessments AM2s assessment of competence Functional skills if required for Level 2 English and Level 2 Maths Apprenticeship starts from sign up date

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The advertised apprentice wage will
increase yearly or upon completion of progressive stages. After initially qualifying, you could go on
to supervisory roles, senior management positions or even running your own
