What will the apprentice be doing?
An Information Communication Technician provides support to everyone in the company, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and troubleshoot non-routine problems. ICT technicians configure and maintain the systems which provide the infrastructure services to the company when they need it, rectifying issues to ensure the organisation’s productivity.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will move through several placements across the company:
- Netwroking
- Servers
- Coding
- Cyber Security
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Qualification: Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
The first 2 years of training will take place on-site at our skills academy whilst attending a local college on day release.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At AWE we offer a guaranteed role for when you've finished your apprenticeship. Our apprentices have gone onto support our business in a variety of roles.
