What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
An Infrastructure Technician provides support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and troubleshoot non-routine problems. The Infrastructure Technician configures and maintains the systems which provide the infrastructure services to our customers when they need it, rectifying issues to ensure the organisation’s productivity.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As an apprentice with AWE, you will be offered a permanent contract from day one. Following the successful completion of the programme, you will move into a role within the business. This is typically a role where you have completed a placement as a part of the programme. From here, you will build your career as an AWE employee.
