Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

You’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive and efficient generalist human resources administrative support across the group. Working closely with the HR Shared Service team manager you’ll, with the relevant training and guidance, take ownership for providing advice and support to Kier employees on a wide range of issues, using company policies and current laws.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You’ll also study for a Level 3 HR Support qualification with guidance from our experienced teams. Upon completion of the qualification, you’ll also be eligible to apply for an associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development - A fantastic way to start your career as a human resource professional. 

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After your apprenticeship you can expect to have all the skills and knowledge to excel as a HR professional. There may even be the opportunity to study for further qualifications at Kier to enhance your skillset to succeed within the HR function.
