Job Description

Topics of the apprenticeship include: IT systems, communication with customers and clients through various methods, creation of documents and organisation of information. Completion time: 13-15 months. After completion of this course you will be able to become a Team Leader in Training, Business Development, Admin or Recruitment.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

The Role  
 
You will be part of the leadership team assisting the HR Team who manage the recruitment, compliance, training and the day to day ‘background stuff’ for the staff who work at over 20 Holiday Camps and 7 Wrap Around Care Clubs  You will also be supporting the wider admin team and will have the opportunity to learn the innerworkings behind the childcare and sports industry whilst gaining life-long qualifications and further opportunities within Multi-Active.  
 
Although every day is different your general duties will include: 

  • Promptly responding to any questions and queries from the staff and/or clients via phone calls, emails, video meetings etc.  
  • Planning conferences, workshops, seminars and other events under supervision of the HR team
  • Creating new training courses to deliver to our staff with the HR team.
  • Promoting and marketing our clubs and camps with the Area Managers and Admin team.
  • Taking notes at meetings, preparing the minutes and subsequently distributing to all participants.
  • Helping to organise uniform
  • Liaising closely with the admin team
  • Booking Staff onto training
  • Chasing up staff’s pre-employment check like DBSs and references
  • Arranging companywide work-do's and assisting the wider team in various tasks  

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This is a Level 3 Apprenticeship.  
 
You will be set work by your apprenticeship tutor and have monthly sessions with them. These range from 2-5 hours and can be in person or over video call. Your tutors are available for support anytime throughout your course. You will also have daily direct support and on the job training by your line manager.

 

When working at Multi-Active its our standard that you complete the following: 
Enhanced DBS 
Safeguarding Level 2 qualification (valid for 3 years) 
Health and Safety Level 2 qualification (valid for 3 years) 
Paediatric First Aid Level 3 qualification (valid for 3 years) 
Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (valid for 3 years)

You will be working in a team with HR Manager, HR Support assistant and working closely with the 4 members of the Admin team. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After completion of this course you will be able to become a Team Leader or Manager or branch out into a specific part of the company like - Training, Business Development, Admin or Recruitment. 

Reality Check

You will need to be able to commute to our office when needed for meetings, socials and uniform deliveries.
