Job Description

A rare and excellent opportunity to join the Executive Support Team in a varied, progressive, family-owned business. This is a fantastic role for the right candidate.


The successful candidate will possess high attention to detail, a professional manner, understand the importance of confidentiality and have a desire to continually improve our processes. The role will include handling day to day queries & working on a range of HR processes whilst building knowledge to provide HR advice and information to the business.

Duties to include:

  • Processing starters and leavers using our HR software whilst working to a tight deadline
  • Recruitment advertising on multiple platforms
  • Issuing offer letters and contracts to a tight deadline
  • Monitoring probation periods and issuing probation letters
  • Requesting and chasing references
  • Job descriptions and Job specifications
  • Develop and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Administer employee benefit scheme
  • Maintain Induction packs and carry out inductions
  • Support Managers in Employee Relations

Future Prospects

Prospect of progression to a higher level qualification and to progress within the business. Upon successful completion of the CIPD Level 3 HR qualification, the salary will be expected to increase.

Qualifications Required

Minimum of 4 GCSE Grades C/4 and above or equivalent, including English and maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Training Provided

  • Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship Standard
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required

  • Most of your training will be on the job

During day release at College apprentices will work on units to aim for a CIPD Level 3 Certificate qualification alongside their apprenticeship.
