Job Description

In this exciting role you will turn our customers dream kitchens into reality. You'll develop the skills to listen to ideas and needs and offer your expert advice, then plan, design and sell kitchens that match these requirements. Using your natural sales skills and creative flair, you will contribute to depot targets, soon achieving your own.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Visit sites and customers homes to establish wants and needs
  • Accurately measure locations including identifying any services 
  • Plan, design and sell inspirational kitchens using the Company’s range of products with the highest level of customer service
  • Correctly process estimates, pricing, delivery dates and stock requirements 
  • Confidently present your designs to customers to gain sales
  • Develop relationships with customers from the building trade and their clients
  • Use of own vehicle is required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Fitted Furniture Design Technician Advanced Apprenticeship

  • Training provided through the Academy - our in house e-learning system

  • Monthly visits from external training provider either face to face or via video call

     

  • Support from experienced depot staff

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Progression into a full Kitchen Sales Designer role, as well as opportunities available to develop skills required to support career progression into management.

Reality Check

This role requires regular travel to peoples homes. You will be required to use your own vehicle during business hours, and travel expenses will be reimbursed accordingly.
