Job Description

We are looking for an Assisting Bar Manager, to learn all aspects of food and beverage service, including barista training.

Responsibilities

PLEASE NOTE WAGE ADVERTISED IS FOR 16-17 YEAR OLDS. NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE FOR AGE IS PAID

Day to day duties will include;

  • Turning on all bar equipment
  • Ensuring cleanliness and fully functioning equipment before service
  • Making sure all service areas are fully stocked (E.g. Bar fridges, cutlery, sauces, menus)
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness of all areas of service
  • Upselling of products (E.g. Specials)
  • Cash Handling
  • Working as a team to ensure a smooth working day

Closing Procedures;

  • Cash up of all tills
  • Cleaning down bar, making sure everything is clean and ready for the next day
  • Building security before leaving

Progressing on to do further qualifications (e.g. Chef De Partie)
