What will the apprentice be doing?
- Highways Maintenance (eg pothole repairs, grass cutting, winter gritting services
- Providing traffic managment for a diversity of projects
- Working as part of our multi-disciplined teams to deliver solutions to highways maintenance.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will be awarded a Level 2 Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative Apprenticeship
You will be required to travel to Telford College on block release with fellow apprentices and stay in a hotel currently sporting a gym and pool for your relaxation time.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you have completed your apprenticeship it is up to you how far you want to go. There are Learning and Development programs that can take you from Operative to Divisional Manager....and within your first few months you will meet lots of Senior Management who have achieved exactly that.
