What will the apprentice be doing?
As a Highways Maintenance Apprentice, you will gain first-rate training and mentoring along with hands on experience and the practical qualifications to prove it! Throughout the training period you will gain a Level 2 Highways Maintenance Apprenticeship as well as gaining additional nationally recognised industry qualifications eg: NRSWA
About the role:
Within your role you will:
Work under the support and direction of experienced operative delivering works on Highway Construction and Maintenance projects, such as tarmacking, concreting, and various groundworks.
You will gain competence in the operation of light plant and other construction equipment, such as Road Rollers, Breakers and Stihl Saws and gain an understanding of the documentation and specifications associated with highway construction and maintenance works.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will gain a level 2 in Highways Maintenance

You will offboard this apprenticshp as an Construction Operative in our Construction and Maintenance Team in our Operations Divison
