At Gary Pellicci Hairdressing in Ongar, Essex, they pride themselves on giving a warm welcome, excellent customer service and the very best hair services. The experienced stylists are trained in the most advanced technical cutting techniques, with the skills to create classic and trending hair cuts & styles and bespoke wedding hairstyles.


The successful candidate will be required to :

  • General salon duties 
  • Assist stylists
  • Meet and greet clients
  • Shampoo and condition hair
  • Keep salon tidy
  • Make teas and coffees for clients
  • Attend training sessions within the salon and at college to learn basic skills in hairdressing

Future Prospects

Complete Hairdressing Apprenticeship at Level 2 and progress to junior stylist within salon. Possible opportunity to further own skills by completing Hairdressing Level 3.

This vacancy requires physical work and you may be required to work on Saturdays as part of your working week. Training sessions in salon on models and day release to Avant Garde for your college training. GCSE or equivalent A*-C (9-4) grade in English and maths desirable but not essential.

Training Provided

  • Hair Professional level 2

Training will take place on a day release basis with Avant Garde. Alongside college training, you will take part in practical hairdressing sessions within the salon.
