Working along stylists to develop your own skills as well as working towards your Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing at RWP once a fortnight. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Shampooing and conditioning hair
  • Perming and neutralising
  • Use basic techniques to change the colour of hair
  • Ensure that own actions reduce any risk to Health & safety
  • Give clients a positive image of yourself and the salon

Future Prospects

  • Progression to become a fully qualified stylist & progess onto an advanced apprenticeship

Maths & English GCSE Grade A-E (8-2) or equivalent

Training Provided

A 22 month programme which includes day release in our training centre and structured on-the-job training provided by the employer where you will gain;

  • Level 2 Diploma (QCF NVQ) in Hairdressing

  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1

  • 1 in-salon training night per fortnight
