Job Description

Ready to start a career in the fitness industry. Snap Fitness 24/7 is looking for an apprentice to join their busy team. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.


Main duties: 

  • Maintain and look to exceed standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all area of the operation
  • Adopt a caring and fun approach to all member interaction aiming to deliver “best in the business” standards of member care
  • Take an active role in promoting the club and building membership through sales, guest visits and promotional activities or events
  • Attend and actively participate in regular meetings
  • Further you knowledge of the health and fitness industry with special relevance to any areas, which you deliver with the club setting
  • Read industry magazines, publications or attend workshops whenever possible
  • Use company property with care
  • Be a company ambassador at all times and look for opportunities to further the good reputation of the company whenever possible
  • Respect the confidentiality of all company materials, including intellectual property, and avoid removing these from the premises
  • Always be impeccably punctual and plan your time carefully
  • Greet any member you meet anywhere within our club at any time

Reality Check

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week)

Skills Required

  • You will need good communication skills and be comfortable with creative thinking
  • Experience of working/participating in a team environment
  • Written, verbal and listening skills

  • You will have a friendly and outgoing personality with ability to build rapport with members, visitors and staff
  • Good listening skills with the ability you identify any action required and deliver your promise
  • Show empathy with members, visitors and staff
  • A flexible , honest and open approach to all duties allowing high levels of trust at all times

  • A balance of skills with possible preference for certain areas of the operation
  • A realization that every opportunity may be a learning experience if handled properly

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE Level maths & English, 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent but not essential
