Job Description

The AM FRESH Group is a world leader in fresh, natural, and healthy foods. They specialise in innovating and developing fresh products through biotechnology and applied science. They are now looking for a Group Sustainability Apprentice to join their team!

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Purpose of the role

To support the group sustainability team with the administration, reporting and communication requirements needed to meet AM FRESH targets. 

Key Requirements

  • Collating Business Unit energy use/carbon data for year-end reporting via dashboards
  • Monitoring food waste and championing reduction targets
  • Supervising supply chain carbon emissions at farm level and monitoring reduction projects
  • Assessing climate change risks affecting farmers supplying AM FRESH
  • Reporting on successful initiatives on farms comprising: biodiversity, soil health, water saving and carbon emissions reductions
  • Writing up quarterly sustainability newsletters
  • Stronger Together Progress Reporting Tool actions and measurements
  • Bi-annual Sedex reporting - key issues and trends
