Job Description

DEBRA is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Fundraising Apprentice to assist our busy fundraising team based in our Bracknell Head Office.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working in the supporter services team to help with the administration which underpins the overall effectiveness of fundraising
  • Keeping the database (thankQ) up to date
  • Playing a part in the supporter journey for our donors by providing effective stewardship in line with established processes.
  • Keeping spreadsheets up to date
  • Opportunities to attend events and challenges to support on the day with things like cheer points, selling raffle tickets, and general on-the-day events support
  • Inputting into fundraising meetings to help develop the impact of fundraising at DEBRA

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Fundraiser Apprenticeship Standard includes:

  • Level 2 functional skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)

Our delivery model is monthly Tutor-led 1-day or two half-day seminars remotely, these are supported by our Skills Coaches (Assessors) who will spend between 1 to 1 1/2 hours with each apprentice every month, to help embed your learning. 

We have Learner Progress Advisors who look after the apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey and undertake formal quarterly reviews.
