An opportunity for an apprentice has arisen in the kitchens at Abacus Primary School. Learn the trade alongside working to gain a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member - Food Production Qualification.

Responsibilities

Abacus Primary School are a community focused Primary School located in Wickford (Essex), accommodating 360 pupils, aged 4-11 years. They have been rated as a 'Good' school by the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted).

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to support their catering team as an apprentice to learn the trade alongside working to gain a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member - Food Production Qualification.

Duties to include:

  • Food preparation
  • Deliveries
  • Food serving
  • Stock control
  • Clearing & cleaning of the kitchen
  • Prep for the next day

Future Prospects

Continue onto a level 3, with a permanent position.

Qualifications Required

None required however, maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
