Job Description

The Thatched Tavern in Maidencombe is looking to employ and train two enthusiastic and ambitious Front of House Team member to support current team in the daily running of the restaurant

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a newly developing team as the Thatched Tavern has just reopened after an extensive refit by its new owners. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to help with the organising and planning seasonal events, supper clubs, parties etc.

Daily duties learning

  • Mixology
  • Wines
  • Cellar Management
  • Meeting & greeting customers
  • Taking and serving food and drink orders

In return, the successful candidate will receive the following:

  • National Minimum Wage for age
  • An equal share of all tips

Skills Required

  • Some experience of working with the General Public internally within Hospitality

Qualifications Required

  • Grades C (4) or above in maths and English is an advantage but not essential, this will be assessed at the start of the qualification

  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required
