This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your financial services knowledge and get hands on to learn about savings, pensions and investments first-hand.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • When you join we want you to learn and understand how our business works, so we will train you and immerse you into Client Service. This is the heart of the business and we have over 500 colleagues here either processing administrative tasks or talking directly with our clients.
  • We recognise variety is important and gaining an insight into a number of teams will help you find where your strengths best fit so your time with us will be made up by a number of rotations across Client Accounts.
  • Client Accounts is where we fulfil the client experience ensuring that their instructions are processed accurately in a timely, safe and secure manner. The team is made up of five key functions – Trading, Asset Servicing, Payments, Treasury and Reconciliations.
  • We make it easy for our clients to manage their savings and investments, by facilitating transactions and supporting them with clear and simple information to make their decisions with confidence.
  • The work will involve using a few different systems, data skills, Excel and working with your team to answer simple and complex client queries or support a colleague in another part of HL.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Digital Business Accelerator Level 3

Being a Multiverse apprentice means access to awesome social events, sports teams, insight/career days with other apprentices to grow your network, as well as your own personal coach who will guide you through the qualification and help you achieve your full potential.

As part of your Multiverse apprenticeship, you will have access to our Future Leaders Foundation modules to help you develop the 6 key competencies: well-being, self-awareness, motivation, conscientiousness, effectiveness and grit.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After your Digital Business Accelerator apprenticeship, you can progress into further qualifications such as Level 4 Project Management, Software Engineering and Digital Marketing.
