What will the apprentice be doing?
bpha is a Housing Association who are committed to providing its customers with high quality, value for money services whilst continuing to develop energy efficient, sustainable and affordable housing. They are a leading provider and developer of affordable homes including general needs rent, retirement living, and homes for shared ownership. They also offer additional support services to bpha customers through tenancy sustainment, money advice and specialist supported housing. Part of the role will include: settlement of utility bills, daily bank postings and reconciliations, review of supplier statements, matching purchase invoices for payment and rejecting invalid invoices. During this apprenticeship, you will study the following topics: General business, understanding your organization, accounting systems, basic accounting, ethical standard, IT systems, communication and team working. On completion of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved a Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant apprenticeship and an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2).What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
