Job Description

Clarity are passionate about developing new talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about finance to join Clarity and start their career within a fast-paced travel management company.

Responsibilities

No two days are the same at Clarity, and as a Finance Apprentice you will develop your skills, to enable you to assist with management accounts and a number of other finance tasks within the Sports division.

Main Duties:

  • Preparing payment runs and sending out remittances
  • Raising sales and purchase invoices into the system, and creating invoices for the Sports Team Managers to send to their Clients
  • Maintaining the Cashbook and working with the Cash team in order to allocated payments against bank statements
  • Reconciling credit card and business travel transactions
  • Assisting with the reconciliation of Balance Sheet control accounts
  • Assisting in the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts

Full study support and training will be offered from the offset, so that experience is eventually gained in all aspects of the Financial Reporting team.

Reality Check

Working week: Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.30pm.

Annual Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 (dependant upon experience).

Skills Required

  • Is committed to the training program, and has a willingness to develop and learn new skills
  • Is analytical, logical, with an excellent attention to detail
  • Has an interest in Accounts and Finance, and enjoys working as part of a team
  • Has strong IT skills (ideally with Excel)
  • Will be confident in an office environment, with excellent customer service skills

Qualities Required

  • Is enthusiastic, with a proactive approach, and looking to start their finance career at Clarity
  • A motivated self starter who can demonstrate their interest in the role and the training needed to develop their skills

Qualifications Required

  • To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grades A*-C including both Maths and English (or equivalent)

Training Provided

  • Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship standard, which includes: Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
