Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Enjoying lots of variety, you’ll support our business teams and develop your skills in different areas of finance. Working with a Financial Accountant or Finance Manager, you’ll learn how to prepare balance sheet reconciliations and generate accruals, prepayments and adjustments. You’ll also assist with financial reporting and help to improve our processes and procedures.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

On our Professional Accounting/Taxation Technician Apprenticeship You'll study towards a a Level 4 CIMA qualification with Kaplan Financial in Leeds. You will attend development days throughout your two year scheme to develop your leadership skills and behaviours.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

At the end of the Apprenticeship, you will be a trained Assistant Accountant, with the opportunity to move onto further training to become a Qualified Accountant.
