Job Description

This role would be based at Norbury High School for Girls where we are seeking a Finance Apprentice to support the efficient functioning of financial matters. We are offering a term time only contract, at 36 hours including 1 day release for studying on an 18 month contract. Closing date 14/08/2022, Interview date 19/08/2022


What will the apprentice be doing?

The finance apprentice will support the finance officers in all finance related duties such as;

cash handling, processing andreconciling the petty cash and staff expenses, processing invoices and BACS payments and supporting the month and year-end processes.

Responsible for all cash and cheques received, issuing of receipts where appropriate

Chasing authorisation from senior managers and teachers

Responsible for the finance inboxes, including responding to and actioning emails, printing invoices and filing in correct sub-folders

Level 3 Accountancy programme with Croydon College

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Opportunity to carry on to Level 4 AAT
