Job Description

Based at Brewpoint, Bedford, this is a great opportunity to join our head office team as a finance apprentice. You will be part of our dedicated finance team that support the day-to-day running of our pubs & brewery. We need someone who has the drive & ambition with a “can-do” attitude. What will the apprentice be doing?

Key Accountabilities:

• Entering bank transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing transactions
• Completing monthly company credit card process and accounting for the UK
• Monthly Company credit card reconciliations for France
• Assisting with the Managed House, French cash reconciliation process
• Assisting the financial and cost accounts team

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship training at Milton Keynes College (one day per week)

AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping certificates (or full qualification, depending on prior learning/experience)

AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting

Full support and training on the job 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This role will evolve over time to enable the apprentice to develop new accounting skills and apply those skills learnt from the accountancy training.
