Job Description

ANS is looking for a motivated and confident Finance Apprentice to join our Finance team. If you want to start your career within finance and learn whilst on the job, then this is the role for you.


In this role, you’ll be expected to:

  • Coding and posting of purchase invoices
  • Checking and posting employee expenses within internal systems
  • Liaise with suppliers & dealing with queries
  • Regular supplier statement reconciliations
  • Recommending supplier payments to manager
  • Administration of credit card scheme
  • Adhoc reporting as required

Qualifications Required

  • Essential: GCSE or A Level in Maths and English - grade C/4 or above
  • Desired: AAT Level 2

Training Provided

Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Apprenticeship training to be delivered jointly by iCount Training and  ANS. You will study towards the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting through attending day release tuition classes
  • You will also attend a series of skills workshops to build your professional skills and behaviours and iCount Training will work with Warr and Co to plan a mix of on- and off-the-job training activities to support your development
  • Throughout your programme you will be supported by a dedicated Skills and Development coach who will work with you, your employer and your accounting tutors to support you through the programme
