Responsibilities

Apprenticeship Funding - For eligibility please speak to us directly
Duties will include:
- General clerical duties to include photocopying, scanning and preparing mailshots
- General administration to assist the event co-ordinators
- Preparing delegate packs, name badges and conference papers
- Liaising with the event management team to help produce advertising material and meeting brochures if required
- Attending local events to assist in their delivery
- Assist event co-ordinators to book event related travel and accommodation
- Assist event co-ordinators to research suitable venues
- Process membership applications including data entry
- Assist in the preparation of post-event evaluation
- Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
- Any other duties commensurate with the role

Skills Required
- Good organisation skills, paying particular attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Good typing and keyboard skills
- A good level of English Language and grammar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to communicate with suppliers, speakers and delegates in a pleasant and effective manner

No formal qualifications required.
Training Provided
The successful candidate will study a Level 2 qualification in Business Administration. This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning, within the workplace.
