Apprenticeship Funding - For eligibility please speak to us directly

Duties will include:

  • General clerical duties to include photocopying, scanning and preparing mailshots
  • General administration to assist the event co-ordinators
  • Preparing delegate packs, name badges and conference papers
  • Liaising with the event management team to help produce advertising material and meeting brochures if required
  • Attending local events to assist in their delivery
  • Assist event co-ordinators to book event related travel and accommodation
  • Assist event co-ordinators to research suitable venues
  • Process membership applications including data entry
  • Assist in the preparation of post-event evaluation
  • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role

Skills Required

  • Good organisation skills, paying particular attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Good typing and keyboard skills
  • A good level of English Language and grammar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

No formal qualifications required.

Training Provided

The successful candidate will study a Level 2 qualification in Business Administration. This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning, within the workplace.
