Job Description

Team Skelton are excited to offer a racing apprentice the chance to join their state-of-the-art facilities based in Warwickshire, for either level 2 or level 3 with accommodation.

Responsibilities

Dan Skelton Racing are looking for an experienced member of stable staff to join Team Skelton who is competent and confident in carrying out all daily duties, to include riding out, general yard duties such as mucking out, grooming, feeding, watering and attending the races with the horses.

You will be a confident rider and have the opportunity to ride out with the fantastic team. For the right candidate, you will attend races with the horses. You will benefit from amazing catered accommodation as well as additional first aid training.

Experience in the racing industry is preferred but not compulsory, however, candidates without any racing experience must be a competent rider and have experience in another equine discipline.
Suberb catered accommodation (including gym, games room, wifi, sky and all racing channels) is offered to the successful candidate along with a competitive salary, pension and bonuses.
Team Skelton also encourage members of staff at any age who wish to work towards qualifications such as diplomas, first aid training or any other relevant qualifications.

Possibility of level 3 senior groom apprenticeship on completion of level 2

Skills Required
