What will the apprentice be doing?
Your role will involve analysing designs to ensure reliability and to identify system recoverability through diagnostics and maintenance engineering. This will include identification of support resources such as tools, facilities, spares, instructions, and training.
You will support the team to deliver supportability engineering solutions to deadlines and within budget, including mathematical support modelling and Integrated Logistic Support working groups and design reviews.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As an Engineer Technician Apprentice (Electronics) you will be studying towards a Level Three qualification in Engineering. For the duration of this 4 year programme you will combine college studies with practical application, working within our Integrated Logistic Support function in Templecombe. This programme is delivered via a blended learning model whereby you will attend college one day a week.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of the apprenticeship you be working as a Supportability engineer within one of the Thales UK businesses.
