What will the apprentice be doing?
This role will be based at our Peterborough office and will play a key role in the delivery of Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) projects. You will assist in the delivery of appraisal, detailed design and construction schemes.
You will work closely with colleagues from across JBA’s offices, primarily on the Environment Agency’s Next Generation Supplier Agreement frameworks.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will be provided by a local college. You will achieve a Civil Enginner Technichian Level 3 apprenticeship qualification, if you pass all modules. You’ll study using modern learning environments and be supported by highly experienced tutors. You will have access to student support services.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will progress in line with standard JBA grade progression, the next level beyond Apprenticeship would be Technical Assistant.
