What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Rapid response to machinery breakdown
  • Monitoring the performance of key service and plant equipment
  • Planned maintenance on service and plant equipment
  • Fault diagnostics of all key equipment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 - This is a 3-4 year programme (based on progression) which includes 40 hours per week with one day release a week for college attendance at West Suffolk College.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Opportunity for full time role on completion of the apprenticeship.
