Responsibilities
Our Engineering Apprenticeships will get you working alongside our Technical Teams, learning how to maintain our complex plant as well as diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults and repair our equipment across our production site, giving you the opportunity to keep production of the Nation’s favourite brands running.
Duties & Responsibilities, not limited to:
- Reactive maintenance engineering
- Planned maintenance engineering
- Machinery repairs
- Improving efficiencies
- Working closely with an assigned mentor

Reality Check
- Year 1 is full-time at Kingston College
- Years 2, 3 & 4 are based at our factory in Slough with day release to college

The next stage is a telephone interview. If you do well at this stage, we’ll invite you to a panel day, which will include a group discussion exercise, a problem-solving exercise, a presentation, and an interview.
You will also get a factory tour with one of our current apprentices, so you can see our environment for yourself, and hear about life with us as an apprentice from someone who’s already been in your shoes.

Qualifications Required
You'll need 5 GCSE's including maths, English and Science at Grade 9-5/A*-B or equivalent. Evidence of these obtained qualifications will be required.
Training Provided
This is an exciting 4-year Apprenticeship, where you will be working towards:
- L3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering – Pathway Mechatronic Standard
Then progressing onto the HNC in General Engineering.
