Job Description

Sera Technology are looking for an Engineering apprentice. You will be trained in all aspects of our technical and mechanical processes. What will the apprentice be doing?

This is a job opportunity for motivated individuals with an intrinsic interest in technical applications. We are looking for team-players with excellent communication skills or for whom they are motivated and want to develop them.

Tasks will include testing and repair of our pumps and all associated equipment, working on exciting projects and assignments with our specialists, involved in the design of our customer-specific solutions and technical specifications as well as P&I diagrams and schematics and production drawings.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship standard. Level 2 Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Operations. Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. 

The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
