We wish to recruit applicants to undertake 4 Year Advanced Engineering Apprenticeships commencing anytime from January to August 2021 in the areas of Toolmaking, Mechanical Maintenance and Laboratory Technician.

The Company has been a leading manufacturer of thermostats, safety cut-outs and other sensing devices for the electrical, automotive and domestic appliance industries throughout the world for 70 years.
We wish to recruit applicants to undertake 4 Year Advanced Engineering Apprenticeships commencing anytime from January to August 2021 in the areas of Toolmaking, Mechanical Maintenance and Laboratory Technician.
Candidates will undertake a variety of duties including:
- Using drawings and manufacturing equipment to produce components to specification
- Maintaining quality and at all time
- Following Health & Safety procedures
The successful candidates will receive:
- Appropriate further education via block or day release to a minimum of NVQ Level 3
- In-house training in mechanical disciplines
- This will allow the individual to progress to a qualified toolmaker, technician or engineer
- Additional higher education to HND or degree, depending on the calibre and performance of the individual
Future Prospects
- Dependant on the performance and calibre of the individual further training up to higher HND or degree level
- Possibility of permanent employment

Qualifications Required
- Applicants should ideally have achieved, or expect to achieve, a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grades 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent which must include maths, English and a science
