Job Description

Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub has been created to provide a central source of information and support for residents and businesses, the aim is to help residents access learning and work opportunities, as well help employers get the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles.


What will the apprentice be doing?

To support the development of and coordination of the administration process.

· Learn to use relevant Microsoft Office programs (Excel & Word) competently.

· Learn to use bespoke systems to carry out everyday activities.

· Liaise with external and internal customers via email and telephone.

· Prepare documents in a variety of formats e.g. excel spreadsheets, word documents or PowerPoint presentations.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful candidate will achieve a Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration.

The successful candidate may need to attend college one day a week to complete functional skills.

The successful candidate can attend any relevant training course.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

May be an opportunity to complete a higher level apprenticeship or a permanent role.
