Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
- General maintenance.
- Managing breakdowns on site and finding faults
- Adding new systems on site for better productivity.
- Running electrical tests
- Health and safety checks which include risk assessments and fire alarm tests
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring safety comes before anything else!
- Taking pride in all work completed and being determined to succeed!
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Installation Electrician and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship
Successful completion will result in: Level 3 (A Level equivalent) qualification in National Electrotechnical Training (NET)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
After successful completion of apprenticeship, you will be given the opportunity to move into a full time position as an Electrician.
Future progression opportunities in Tarmac are widely available with experience and include roles such as: Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager.
