Electrical Apprentice - Advanced (Level 3)
What will the apprentice be doing?
You will learn to:
- Understand and apply electrical principles associated with the design, build, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all buildings are tested to the required standards, including the completion of appropriate documentation/certification.
- Conduct fault finding and undertake rectifications of existing systems
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure timescales for completing work are achieved and quality standards reached.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As an apprentice with Portakabin you will attend JTL Training on a block release basis in order to gain a Level 3 Electrotechnical (Installation) qualification.
You will also carry out a structured in-house development programme to attain the relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve your apprenticeship.
Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship you will be appointed a workplace mentor to support you with your learning.
