What will the apprentice be doing?

You will experience a diverse and varying work load during your tenure with us.

You may be at college one day learning the theory, and the next day  putting it into practie on site with one of our mentors.

Daily duties could range from Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical services, whether that be indoors or outdoors, to diagnosing and rectifying faults on a range of circuits and equipment. You would then inspect and test each others work and write a report to follow up.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will study your technical certificate and Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installation at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. This will be delivered on block release throughout the 4 years. You will also gain extensive 'on the job' training

There are also various in house training courses as well as external courses to include PASMA, IPAF, First Aid, CSCS etc.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
