What will the apprentice be doing?
Cheeky Rascals are being supported by PETA to recruit and train an Ecommerce / Digital Marketing Apprentice. We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate, confident and creative individual to support our growing marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity if you have a genuine love of all things digital.
You will report directly to the Ecommerce Manager and will develop growth strategies for multiple brands under the Cheeky Rascals umbrella. Our business is fast-paced, and the ideal candidate will be both creative and analytical.
The Ecommerce / Digital Marketing Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:
- General website maintenance and updates of our 5 websites
- Working on our SEO project to improve our appearance and positioning of web pages in organic social results
- Reviewing and analysing Google Analytics data in order to make informed decisions
- Managing the day-to-day Customer Email Program in Mailchimp
- Working on cross-platform projects
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete an 18-month apprenticeship which includes 19 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6-8 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

Knowledge Module 1: Principles of Coding (for level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship) - CIM Level 3 Award in Digital Fundamentals
Knowledge Module 2: Marketing Principles (for Level 3 Digital Marketer) - CIM Level 3 Award in Digital Fundamentals
Knowledge Module 3: Digital Marketing Business Principle (for level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship) - BCS Business Principles of Coding
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There is the intention for a full-time role to be offered to the suitable and successful candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship.
