Our nursery practitioners have an active role in the day to day running of the nursery. They build strong, positive relationships with the parents and families and ensure that they are always kept up to date and involved in the development of their children.
Responsibilities
- Support the learning of our EYFS curriculum
- Planning activities and organising continuous play to extend learning
- Track children’s progress, skills and areas of development thoroughly
- Create a safe, loving and fun environment
- Building trust with the children
- Working as a team with the rest of the staffing
- Support the children with general care such as feeding and changing and helping them to learn independence skills
- Most importantly the nursery practitioners get down with the children and play

- To progress onto a level 3 apprenticeship with Realise

- Must have English and math's GCSE or equivalent or appropriate plans to have these during position
Training Provided
- Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Cherry Tree Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in
your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of
your working day. - If successful, you will complete a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship programme,
delivered through Cherry Tree Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise.
