Job Description

You will work as part of the team to support the all round development and care of the children and babies. Providing activities to enhance areas of development, enabling children to reach their full potential in a safe and secure environment.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties/responsibilities to include:

  • Preparing and serving snacks and meals
  • Hygiene and care
  • Domestic duties
  • Reading stories
  • Outdoor activities
  • Setting up play and art and craft activities
  • Talking to parents
  • Completed required paperwork and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

To become equipped with the skills and knowledge at a high level to join the early education and childcare workforce.

Day-to-day support will be given by the employer and on-site training will be provided by Professional Training Solutions for your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

Apprentices must successfully complete a first aid qualification in line with the requirements of the EYFS Framework (Annex A): Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Progression to a more senior lead role.
