What will the apprentice be doing?
Key duties within this role include:
plan activities for and with the children;
organise play areas, materials and equipment;
encourage fair and caring behaviour among the children;
encourage independence and self-esteem;
talk to children about their concerns or worries;
deal with injuries and emergencies;
liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be working towards a Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship over 12 months with Aspire2Learn www.aspire2learn.com
Training will be conducted on-site with 20% off-the-job training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion of this course, Apprentices are welcome to apply for L2 Early Years roles in any of our 11 schools.
