We're looking for a highly organised and proactive apprentice to join Anglo American's Group Management Committee. You will be joining an organisation that promotes an inclusive and diverse workplace.


Duties to include:

  • Supports the I&D specialist to manage reporting requirements to demonstrate progress against agreed measures, analyse data and identify trends
  • Manages project reporting against agreed timelines for all I&D projects
  • Assists the inclusion and diversity specialist with ongoing support of colleague networks to ensure sustainability, growth, evolution in maturity and recognition of involvement
  • Supports the production of communication updates to stakeholders
  • Assists with the coordination, delivery and implementation of all engagement activities to support agreed Group-wide awareness days
  • Supports the ongoing update of Eureka pages
  • Undertakes desktop research to ensure Anglo American is aware of I&D global developments

Future Prospects

After your Business Administration apprenticeship progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.

Skills Required

  • You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • You can leverage the knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook
  • You can analyse information, extract the pertinent facts and communicate findings
  • You will display a commitment to safety

Qualifications Required

  • Three A-Levels at grades A*-C (or 240 UCAS points or new tariff equivalent)
  • Good knowledge of IT packages e.g Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets etc.
  • Five GCSE grades C – A* (or 4-9), including maths and English

Level 3 Business Administrator (BA3) apprenticeship standard
