Job Description

An exciting opportunity for anybody looking to kickstart their career in Digital Marketing. The successful candidate, under the guidance of experienced marketers, will have the opportunity to take full ownership of Fruitfuls own marketing function using social media platforms and writing engaging content.


What will the apprentice be doing?

This really is an exciting opportunity for somebody to start a career in Digital Marketing. The successful apprentice will take ownership of driving the businesses brand across multiple channels. High quality content creation will be a key part of the role, so an excellent command of English in terms of grammar and spelling are critical. The apprentice will have the opportunity to write blog pages for clients and create content for landing pages for digital marketing campaigns. Part of the role will be a 'brand guardian' for Fruitful Marketing. It will entail direct communication with prospects and customers via phone, messaging using live chat, email and face to face. A high level of professionalism is expected throughout all these interactions. The apprentice will use SEO to enhance the company and clients website performance and increase traffic. Using pre-approved templates, the apprentice will create content, select appropriate stock imagery and send to clients for pre-approval and schedule social media campaigns. The apprentice will also conduct market research and competitor research to gain new business for Fruitful Marketing. The apprentice will also be involved in the onboarding of new clients to ensure all their needs and requirements are met. The apprentice will also evaluate campaigns using analytical tools and measurements, and make recommendations on how the campaign might be improved where needed.

CORE MODULES Marketing Principles Develop an understanding of the range of digital marketing principles, strategies and techniques.

Key Topics: • Security levels necessary to protect data • Digital etiquette • Customer Relationship Management systems • Understand the differences between all the major digital and social media platforms • Plan digital content based on audience needs • How a digital marketing team works in a business environment Principles of Coding Develop knowledge in the range of concepts, approaches, software languages and techniques that are applicable to Principles of Coding. Key Topics: • Compatibility of code on different platforms • Components involved in web development • Hosting and serving • Search Engines • How local (cookies) or session data storage is utilised • Programming languages and how they apply to building digital products (html/javascript) Google Analytics IQ Develop knowledge to be proficient in Google Analytics and be effective at leveraging Google Analytics within their organisations. Key Topics: • Layout, reporting, campaign and conversion tracking • Data collection, setup and configuration • Analysis tools and techniques • Advanced marketing tool
