Job Description

You will act as the key point of contact for internal communications at Nissan GB. You will plan and create content to be shared across Nissan’s internal channels including e-mail, app and in-office ambient media.


Duties will include:

  • Act as the key contact for Internal Communications at Nissan GB
  • Plan and create content to be shared across Nissan’s internal channels including e-mail, app and in-office ambient media
  • Support with content for executive social media accounts
  • Co-ordinate employee engagement initiatives with a cross-functional team around key events (e.g. new product launches, important cultural dates)
  • Support PR team in the organisation and hosting of media events (e.g. new model launch events)
  • Manage departmental finances, including PO creation and supplier payments

Future Prospects

  • When individuals complete their Apprenticeship, they will have the opportunity to apply for any other NMGB roles if they meet the pre-requisites
  • This role would also be great preparation for a variety of communications roles both within and outside the automotive industry

Skills Required

  • Great communication skills and confidence to work with people of all levels
  • Strong written English skills
  • Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint to a confident level
  • Good time management and organisational skills, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Good level of numeracy skills; comfortable dealing with numbers and data
  • Full UK driving license

  • Great communicator – someone who feels comfortable introducing themselves and making appropriate small talk when needed!
  • Close attention to detail
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and suggest new ideas

Qualifications Required

  • Maths and English grade C (4) or above is desired
