Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Act as the key contact for Internal Communications at Nissan GB
- Plan and create content to be shared across Nissan’s internal channels including e-mail, app and in-office ambient media
- Support with content for executive social media accounts
- Co-ordinate employee engagement initiatives with a cross-functional team around key events (e.g. new product launches, important cultural dates)
- Support PR team in the organisation and hosting of media events (e.g. new model launch events)
- Manage departmental finances, including PO creation and supplier payments
Future Prospects
- When individuals complete their Apprenticeship, they will have the opportunity to apply for any other NMGB roles if they meet the pre-requisites
- This role would also be great preparation for a variety of communications roles both within and outside the automotive industry
Skills Required
- Great communication skills and confidence to work with people of all levels
- Strong written English skills
- Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint to a confident level
- Good time management and organisational skills, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Good level of numeracy skills; comfortable dealing with numbers and data
- Full UK driving license

- Great communicator – someone who feels comfortable introducing themselves and making appropriate small talk when needed!

Qualifications Required
- Maths and English grade C (4) or above is desired
